D'ELOIA - Anthony (Tony) of East Northport on February 11, 2025, at 88 years of age. Tony was a longtime employee of Sears, Roebuck and Company in Buffalo, NY; and later Wilmington, DE before settling on Long Island for the remainder of his career. He had a lifelong love of sailing, and in retirement enjoyed restoring and racing “catboats.” He was an avid spectator of the high school basketball games that his son Andrew coached. Devoted husband of 63 years to Sandra. Cherished father of Andrea, Stephen (Anne), Jay (Lisa), and Andrew (Rebecca). Loving brother to Gregory and Steven (the late Maureen), and uncle to Christine, Janine, Stephen, Greg, and Amy. Adoring brother-in-law to Nancy (the late Robert), and Sharon (the late Stephen). Tony lit up the room with his stories and uplifting nature. He faced his health issues with positivity and optimism. He was a man of humor and wisdom, who cherished every moment he spent with loved ones. Visitation Sunday from 4 to 8 pm at Brueggemann Funeral Home - 522 Larkfield Road, East Northport. Tony, I will never forget after the 6 of us had dinner (Amy, Lisa, Jay, Margaret , Tom & myself) the first question you asked was "so are the paper signed?" That gave me a big LOL, thank you for that memory! Please guide the trees with strength and kindness like you had done with your kids and grandkids. Rest in Paradise

Dear Tony, I will miss the many days we had sailing together. You loved being by the water and it brought us closer together. I'll miss very much. Amy loved the way you used to intimidate Donald Duck! It has been a very sad time for me. I'll see you again in Heaven! Bless you and all our family.

Dear Sandee, Andrea, Jay, Andrew and Stephen, I am so very sorry to hear of Tony's passing. He was a great neighbor and friend for the many years that we knew him. Always a smile and a wave if you saw him working on his boat in the driveway. Joe always enjoyed time spent with him working on boats or just talking about them. Maybe they are doing just that right now. My sincere condolences to all of you. Marilyn Resch

"Tone Tone", your legacy will forever live on through the countless lives you touched and the lessons you taught us. Though we mourn your loss, we also celebrate the incredible life you lived. Thank you for being the best father any of us could have asked for. We love you, will miss you, and we will continue to make you proud. Rest in peace, Dad.
