Arthur R. Suhr Jr., age 68, of Coram, New York, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023. Born on April 30,1954 in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late Arthur and Dorothy Suhr Sr. Arthur was a 1972 graduate of Northport High School and a 1976 graduate of Hofstra University. He retired a couple of years ago after a lifetime in sales. Arthur was a ham radio operator. He is survived by his sister - Peggy Suhr-Barkley (Dennis Barkley), his niece - Natalie Barkley Chapman (Gregory Chapman), his nephew - Jeremy Barkley (Kristen Quimby), his great nephew – Carter Chapman, and his cousins; Dorothy Meyer and Philip Meyer (Judy). Friends will be received on Thursday, January 12 th at Brueggemann Funeral Home, 522 Larkfield Road, East Northport from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. A Celebration of Life & Eternal Life Service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 189 Burr Road, East Northport on Friday, January 13 th at 10:00 a.m. Arthur will be laid to rest at All Faiths Cemetery in Middle Village, Queens.
