Condolences

I was saddened to hear of Charlie's passing. We drove adjoining cars in the second for a few years and I always enjoyed working with him, can't remember how many calls we went on together. I ran into him a few times when he worked in records bureau a few years later, it was always good to stop and talk with him. My condolences to his family

I remember the first time Charlie did a Bereavement reading. It was only me, Charlie and Doug and Charlie was a nervous wreck but I told him he did great. I've been at several other services where Charlie did a reading. We'd sit and talk beforehand and he got less and less nervous with each one. We talked about the problems with his back and mine. I was saddened to hear about his illness and prayed for a healthy recovery. I'm sorry that his recovery never came. He will be greatly missed at the services and the ARPO meetings. I always enjoyed my conversations with him. Rest in Peace Charlie. Keep doing those readings in Heaven and we'll be thinking of you and missing you at future services.

Charlie was an excellent Police Officer and it was a pleasure to work with him. I would say his motto would be Family, Faith, Friends and NCPD. As a supervisor in the Second Precinct, and friend, I knew the any work assignment would be done correct and with the utmost of professionalism. He worked well with his peers, the community and was well regarded as a dedicated officer. He will be missed by many. Charlie Rest In Peace and God Bless You and your family. You can take your post now and keep an eye out for all of us. Prayers and thoughts for all of the Roby family.
