Chris Roberts was a friend, a mentor, and a brother to so many. During his time at The University of Alabama, Chris was instrumental in the re-founding and re-building of the Tau Chapter of the Chi Phi Fraternity. His fervent dedication and selfless commitment to the concept of Fraternity helped shape an organization that we could all be proud of. Having the opportunity to work alongside Chris in that effort is something that will be treasured by all who were privileged to experience it. Chris genuinely exemplified the values of Truth, Honor, and Personal Integrity, and it was clear that he incorporated these values into every aspect of his life. 27 men with whom he initiated, those who looked up to him during his active membership, and countless past, present, and future Chi Phis who are honored to call him a Brother owe a debt of gratitude to Chris Roberts. On behalf of these men, I extend my deepest condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones. He will be missed beyond measure, and remembered fondly- Fraternally and Eternally.

Chris, I will forever be grateful for the memories we shared. You were such an incredible, selfless, dedicated, and passionate person, possibly the most unique person that I have ever met. You left a mark on so many peoples lives and did what you could to show everyone their true potential. We always saw how special you were and the great amount of potential you had.
