Devlin was a uniquely beautiful soul, superior character and unforgettable friend. We are pleased to know how much he was part of our daughter's life in their formative years. My student Devlin was a true creative. He tested the boundaries of life both personally and professionally. When I first met Devlin I gifted him a pura vida wave necklace which he wore all the way up to his high school graduation. We road the wave to what felt like an impossible goal at the time and enjoyed the celebration with his family when the milestone finally arrived. On graduation day he gifted me 2 pieces of artwork that have remained hung in my living room ever since. Devlin's spirit lives on as a "starr" in the sky smiling down on all of us who knew him as he continues to explore the world through another lense. My condolences to his family.

I never had the chance to meet you, Devlin, but I have a world of respect and appreciation for you. Rest in peace.

I shared a few classes and very memorable conversations with Devlin. His unbridled passion for his work and persistence in discovering and uncovering mysteries of life through art is something so rare and admirable. My heart is with his family and friends. It is obvious that he was--and will always be--very loved.

All I can think about when I remember you is love. That's the only word that comes to mind. I've never met somebody that would put others before themselves so selflessly without a second thought in the way that you did. You would drop everything just to make sure somebody was okay, even if it was a stranger or somebody you didn't know. You were always the first person to reach out with a helping hand. You will always be remembered as that bright light who brought love into every room you entered because that's who you were and who you will always be. Thank you for all of those conversations, hangouts, hugs, all of it. You made me feel like I wasn't an outcast for the first time in my life and that it was okay to be different. I will never forget that feeling of acceptance after hanging out with you for the first couple of times. I will cherish those memories and my time with you for the rest of my life. Thank you for being who you are. I love you, Devlin. Forever.
