Matthew told me of Dom's passing and I want to express my condolences for your loss, Dom was a mentor and not a day goes by that i don't hear his words of wisdom. Truly an honorable and loved man!

So sorry for your loss. My dad, Andy Losurdo, is Dom's father Leo's first cousin. He is 93 and remembers Dominick as a child at his Zia Arcangela's house. (Dom's grandmother) May he rest in peace. -Andrea Losurdo Cassidy

I had the extreme pleasure to work on may Art and Design projects with Dom - including the Gallery. He was such a pleasure to work with - a true gentleman. His knowledge and vision for his 'field' of study was over the top. He was always thinking about how to improve his profession and how best to reach his students. I was shocked at his passing and I will miss him. My best - always - to Matthew and Anneliese. Jeff Haney, Smithtown, NY

Liese and Matthew, so very saddened to hear of Dom's passing. Such a good man; good family. May the Holy Spirit guide and carry you forward until you meet again. Much sympathy.... Connie & Adele & Debby

I had the honor to work with Dom as a court reporter in the EDNY. Dom was the one who asked me to follow him as the Second Circuit Representative in USCRA. Dom and I would have coffee together every morning before court. He was a true scholar on many subjects but was unmatched when it came to the historical aspects of stenography. Everyone should see at least once Dom's Gallery of Shorthand at the Federal Courthouse on Long Island. I will miss you my friend.

Dom was one of a kind and left a huge hole in the fabric of our profession. Always casting any spotlight away from his many accomplishments and onto others, he never met a stranger, had a smile and warm hug for everyone, and is truly unforgettable. Rest in peace, Sweet Servant. I'm sure you hit the ground running in Heaven and are staying as busy as ever, making even more new friends along the way. Anneliese and family, thank you for sharing Dom with all of us. What an amazing man. Sometimes we walk among giants ... and he was one. Love and prayers as you find peace and acceptance.

The world of stenography has lost a giant. The Tursi family has lost their core. My condolences and prayers to Anneliese and the entire family as well as all the many who loved Dom. Dom, Bill, and Arnold are now competing and breaking records in Heaven 🥰.
