HENNINGER - Donald E. of Northport on April 27, 2021 at 78 years of age. Donald was the former owner and manager of Pastrami N Friends Kosher Delicatessen in Commack for over thirty years. He was also involved in his community with the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Council, Financial Secretary, Usher, Volunteer and Pancake Breakfast Chef, Northport Little League Baseball Coach, supporter for Northport High School and community sports teams, assisted with the Northport Food Pantry. His favorite sports teams were the NY Yankees, NY Giants and Michigan State Spartans. Devoted husband of Jean Henninger. Cherished father of James (Milena) and Donald (Anita) Henninger. Loving grandfather of Daniel, Gerard, Jimmy, Gracia, Darrin. Dear brother of Kenneth (Barbara) Henninger, brother-in-law of Peggy (Paul) Kidon and Diane Hunsberger. Loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors. Visitation Friday from at Brueggemann Funeral Home - 522 Larkfield Road, East Northport.
