Devoted wife of the late Eugene Cherished mother of Thomas, Matthew (Ann), Jeanne-Marie (Patrick) Breen, Kathleen Herman, Nancy (Kye) Carbone, Theresa (David) Leone and Maureen. Adored grandmother of fourteen and great grandmother of seven. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Anthony of Padua Parish Outreach, 20 Cheshire Place, East Northport NY 11731 or to the Friends of Firefighters at friendsoffirefighters.org Visitation Wednesday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm at Brueggemann Funeral Home - 522 Larkfield Road, East Northport. Funeral Mass Thursday, 10:00 am at St. Anthony Of Padua R.C. Church, East Northport. Burial to follow at Calverton National Cemetery.

Dorothy was a loving and compassionate volunteer at St. Anthony of Padua Parish Outreach for many years. She was funny and made us all smile with her wit and love of life. She brought so much joy and love to all who knew her and even to those in her community that didn't. We will missed. ❤️🙏🏻 God bless you Dorothy and your family too.
