AEBISHER - Johanna Eleanore on May 28, 2023, at 86 years of age. Eleanore was a familiar face for over 30 years at the family’s Fort Hill Nursery in Huntington, together with her husband, children, and brother-in-law Dave; her bow and wreath making skills were legendary. She enjoyed seeing her customers around town and looked forward to seeing the new veterinary hospital being built on the site. A devoted member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church she was active in the choir and generous with her time and baking skills. A past President of the Ladies Aid, she enjoyed the reaching out to the homebound, fellowship, and a sense of community. She enjoyed many family trips and vacationed in Aruba every winter for over 30 years with her beloved husband Adolph to whom she enjoyed 65 years of marriage. The loving mother of Linda (Curtis) and Russell (Patti). Cherished grandmother of Hannah (Daniel) who was the apple of her eye. Visitation Friday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm at Brueggemann Funeral Home - 522 Larkfield Road, East Northport. Funeral Service Friday, 8:00 pm. Prayers will be offered Saturday at 10:30 am before departing for interment at Genola Rural Cemetery.
