SEPESSY - Elfriede of East Northport, NY on September 22, 2023 at 88 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Stephen Sepessy. Loving mother of Carol (Tom) Kolano and Peter (Debbie) Sepessy. Cherished grandmother of Kyle, Kiernan, Brandon, Jillian and Nicole. Dear sister of Anni Seeliger, Betty Klaar and Inge Benkowitsch. Visitation Thursday from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Brueggemann Funeral Home - 522 Larkfield Road, East Northport. Funeral Service Friday, 10:00 am at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, East Northport, NY . Burial to follow at Genola Rural Cemetery.

Met Mrs Sepessy years ago. Before Pete and Debbie were married. It might have been their engagement party. I loved to listen to her talk with her German accent. I remember saying to her "wow these pastries and cookies are fantastic, where did you get them from? When she told me she made them all, I asked if she could adopt me so I would always have such great treats. She always had a smile for us even if we hadn't seen her in years. She was a lovely lady. Our sympathy for your loss. Rest in peace together forever with you husband Mrs. Sepessy. You will be missed
