MIATA - Eugene M. of East Northport on August 9, 2023, at 97 years of age. Eugene was a proud veteran of the US Navy, former member of the Commack Fire Department, and owner of the Elwood Hardware Store for 70 years. A loving husband to the late Dorothy and the late Helen. Cherished father of Dorothy (Stanley) Lenz, Jeanne (Kevin) Corrigan, Michael (Susan), and Martin (Teresa) Miata. He especially loved his eleven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Visitation Tuesday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm at Brueggemann Funeral Home - 522 Larkfield Road, East Northport. Funeral Service Wednesday, 10:00 am at St. Francis Of Assisi R.C. Church, Greenlawn.
