Laura and Gerry Jr. I was sad to hear of my father's passing. He was a wonderful father to us when we were small and being the eldest I was his helper in most everything he did. He constructed beautiful gardens for my grandmother, helped install a roof on my grandparent's farm in Vermont, raised the best tomatoes in the neighborhood, was a decent mechanic, excellent arborist and he loved to fish and go out on his boat. I have some very wonderful memories of him. At his request and out of respect for you, we never intruded on his life with his new family. I just want you to know he was loved and respected as our father.

My deepest sympathy and condolences on the passing of your husband and my father. I was estranged from him for many years but he was a good father to me and my siblings when we were very little children.
