SOOSAAR - Hillar of Commack on September 18, 2022 at 93 years of age. Devoted husband of Jean Soosaar. Cherished father of Lynda (George) Hamparzoumian, Allyson (Ronald) Steinlauf. Beloved grandfather of Victoria, Andrey. Visitation Wednesday from 5 - 9 PM at Brueggemann Funeral Home - 522 Larkfield Road, East Northport. Graveside Service Thursday, 11:30 am at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY. Burial to follow. In Lieu of flowers please make a donation to St. Francis Hospital Foundation in support of Cardiology in Hillar’s memory.

Grace and I knew Hillar through one his his best friend's and ex-neighbor Gary Kunz. We had so many great times at parties and sharing the love of music with our families and friends.
