FERDENZI - Ines Maria born in London, England. She attended a convent school during World War II to be protected from the London bombings and came to the United States with her family in 1950. She quickly found a job as an accountant at Shell Chemical. She later became an entrepreneur - inventing products used in pet grooming. When she retired she found joy in going to the Mr. Airy Casino. She lived with her partner Robert J. Ball for over 50 years and they had a full life owning properties in Greenport & Singer Island, Florida. While they never had children, she was a loving aunt to her brother’s children and grandchildren. She also cherished her other family members including her nieces Maria & Kimmie. She was a people person who had many friends and was loved by all. She will truly be missed. Cremation entrusted to the Brueggemann Funeral Home. Funeral service Friday, March 1, 10:15 AM at St. Francis of Xavier Roman Catholic Church, West 16th Street, New York. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Queens. www.bfhli.com

I have so many very fond memories of Ines, and visiting the Ferdenzi home as a child growing up. It was a warm, loving, and welcoming environment, where there was always time made for a cup of tea or a meal with family. I found Ines to be elegant, loving, warm, and committed to family. I wanted to be like her. She took me to the world's fair when I was just 9 years old, to the beach, to church, and had the patience of a saint with me. She will live on in my heart as will all the Ferdenzi family members. With love, Denise
