I met Jeri (and Tony) in the late 70's. There was always a special place in my heart for Jeri in spite of the distance between us when my family moved to NC in 1989. Jeri was a beautiful person in so many ways, including the most important -- joyful, kind, compassionate, attentive -- and so much more. Her stunning blue eyes would zoom in, and it was clear she was there to share the moment with you. My heart aches for her two years of suffering. It aches as well for Tony (and Glen) who will feel her absence so deeply. I will continue to hold you all in my prayers that time will bring healing and peace to her family and dear friends. Jeri was my lifetime friend who became like a sister to me. We enjoyed life, conversations, eating, baking, and just loving life together with our families. Jeri was a lovely lady inside and out. I will miss her terribly. Rest in peace !

Jeri, You opened your heart to so many people. I'm blessed to have been one of them. Your big blue eyes saw good in all and you made sure the person felt loved. I enjoyed our times sitting, talking, sharing memories, stories and jokes even if a few had to be explained which made us laugh even more.
