A graduate of Pace University, Joseph went on to serve with the US Army MP unit where he earned merit as an Expert Shooter on the M14 Rifle. Devoted husband of the late Kathleen Rumpelein. Beloved father of John Rumpelein and Audra (Jon) Desjardins. Treasured grandfather of Sean and Kaitlyn. Loving brother of Agnes (the late Max) and uncle to Marianne (Dwayne) and John. Funeral Service Thursday, 10:00 am at St. Francis Of Assisi R.C. Church, Greenlawn. Interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery.
