Dear Erika & family - Carey and I were so sad to hear of Laura's passing. We know that she had been through a lot, but was hoping for recovery. She will be missed terribly by all of you. We hope that in time, that memories will bring you some comfort and peace. Wish that we could be with you. Praying for all of you. Love - Carey & Eileen

My dear Laura, while we never got to meet in person we were best friends. We had known each other since the spring of 2004 because of our griffs. We were always there for each other. We talked on the phone sometimes daily for all those years. I know you are surrounded by your griffs and mine. I know you are getting lots of griff kisses. Laura, you were and are so blessed you had Jimmy and your mom there for you. I know they are heart broken along with your brother and his family. You will be forever young to me with a heart of gold. I will so miss our long talks about everything. I love you, we always ended our phone chats with this. God Bless you Laura to you, Jimmy, your mom, brother and family. You fought an amazing fight and we're still fighting when we talked last.

Laura, our hard working, glamorous sister-in-law (and aunt) was sometimes known to wear full makeup, and a fur coat, to agility dog events to watch her beloved "fur babies" compete. She was a gourmet cook, expert researcher: finding the best of any product or service; and an avid animal lover ... but especially she was the love of Jimmy's life. Laura taught us a diagnosis does not define a person, and to respect her privacy to treatment. Laura was a strong woman and a fighter. Her struggle is now over. We are so sorry to be unable to be with you during this sad time. Sending our love, prayers, and deepest sympathy, Pam, Wes, Will, Whitney and Wyatt
