Larry ("Lorenzo") was born October 7, 1949 and peacefully passed away on September 26, 2024 at the age of 74. He leaves behind a legacy of love, humor, unwavering commitment to his family here and in Italy, and cherished memories with his late wife, daughters, grandchildren, and extended family. He was a beloved husband to Kristin; father to Justine (Tobin) and Lara (Meghan); brother; uncle; cousin; godfather; and most importantly, grandfather to Brandon, Margaret, and future baby Wesley. Larry touched the lives of so many individuals around him, from his friends at Bagelport and Dunkin' Donuts to the deck hands at Britannia Yacht Club. He was known for his wit, jokes, and willingness to drop everything to help his family and offer support. Larry tragically lost his beloved wife, Kristin, to cancer in October 2019. After losing his wife, Larry often said "from dust you are and to dust you shall return": he made peace with her passing only through his understanding that they would eventually be reunited in Heaven. Larry approached life with a sense of humor and candor, but with God as his compass. He gave graciously and put others first whenever possible. In his spare time, Larry enjoyed fishing in his boat, taking care of his pool for his kids and grandkids, and gardening. Larry found joy in the simple pleasures of life (e.g., deciding what to eat for dinner) and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Larry will be deeply missed by his family and friends, and especially by his grandchildren, who will carry on his legacy. All are welcome to join his funeral mass at St. Anthony's of Padua Church at 10:00 am on October 4, followed by a burial at St. Charles Cemetery and Celebration of Life at Britannia Yachting Center.
