I met Leslie thru our parents Frank and Rita and Carole and John. We went to Catholic School together in Queens NY. We had not seen each other for many years because I grew up in Queens and she had moved to Long island. My mother and her mother kept in touch. I got married and moved to Long Island and we reconnected. Our deepest, heartfelt, sympathies to the family and I am extending this message on behalf of my mother, who has dementia now but our prayers will continue to all in the family. Love the Simms, Myrie and Moore Family.

My deepest sympathies to Leslie's family and loved ones. She was a very special woman. My son was blessed by all the lessons she taught him about being respectful. Matthew Ricky and any other Commack boys that entered her home always felt right at home. She will be so missed but live on through all the fond memories and stories we will share forever 💕 May she rest in peace with all her loved ones that passed before her. 🙏🏻

As a fellow member of St. Anthony of Padua Parish, I am forever grateful to have met Leslie and be the recipient of some helpful advice on how to deal with life as a fellow amputee. My life will never be the same for having known her. May she forever Rest In Peace.

I lived around the corner from Leslie and her wonderful family since high school. I will always remember her beautiful smile as she welcomed me to the neighborhood. I know she is resting in peace with her family once again. She will be missed by me and all the other lives she touched.

I first met Leslie Malone and her beloved family when I began tutoring her younger sister, Susan one year while attending college in the early 70's. I had the great pleasure of sharing in their loving and close knit family. I loved each of them but Leslie and I had a special relationship & understanding. Although our lives went down different paths, from time to time I would visit her and we would reconnect, share stories and sorrows yet always finding something to be grateful for and laugh about. Leslie, you will be missed by me and all those who really knew you, saw all the setbacks and sorrows you faced and yet somehow moved forward with grace and fortitude. Leslie, Susan, Rita, Frank, I hope you are all together again and I thank you all for sharing your knowledge, graciousness, faith and humor with me and so many others through the past 52 years.

We're saddened to hear about the passing of Leslie at mass this morning. We share in your sorrow. Leslie touched so many lives in the very best way. I'm grateful I got the chance to know her as a friend, bible study partner and a parent, as our sons grew together through the years. She will be forever in our hearts. God Speed.

Thoughs and prayers are with you at this difficult time. I knew Leslie earlier in life as a kind caring person, unbeat and interesting with a zest for life . Leslie had a special quality of making everyone feel included and for always focusing on the positive regardless of the challenges faced. She was truly and inspiration. May God bless you and your family . Fond regards, Lorraine Calzetta (patrovic)
