Obituary For Lewis Crum

CRUM - Lewis of East Northport on March 26, 2026, at 78 years of age. Lew chose a life of service and worked as a Suffolk County Police officer for 25 years. He remained an active member of the community and was always willing to assist others. He will be greatly missed but his generosity will be carried forward by all he knew and loved. Beloved husband of the late Patricia Crum. Treasured father of Michael (Leslie), Jennifer (John), Rebecca, Steven (Liz), Amanda. Loving grandfather of Izabelle, Sofia, Sydney, Atticus, and the late Sarah and a cherished great grandfather. Brother of Connie (Paul). Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Memorial visitation Sunday, April 12 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Brueggemann Funeral Home - 522 Larkfield Road, East Northport.     My family was shocked to hear of Lew's passing. Practically sharing house numbers with Lew and Pat for decades, we often got each other's mail and deliveries (we still do). He would always bring mine over and we would smile and shrug knowing that it would never get fixed. Our sincerest condolences to his family at this very sad time. He will be missed! RIP Lew!

    So sorry to hear abiut Lou. I lived next door from him for years . My name is Donna I am the daughter of Elaine Kotarski his other n neighbor. My mom is 87 Lou would come mow the lawn before I got there . He would take my mom to Dr when I couldn't. Lou would shovel snow sometimes. He was truly a beautiful man. My mother recently moved and was sad to leave Lou. May he rest in peace and now he is with his wife. Thank you Lou for being a great neighbor and friend all these years.
