My sister and I had the priviledge of being in your wedding party. I still see the vision of you and Tony standing at the altar on Valentines day so very much in love. We visited often and I know you loved my Dad. Uncle Joe was special to you as you were to him. Joanne and I always marveled at your strength, your poise, your intelligence and sense of humor. You never gave in you never gave up but continued your journey through life with a smile and always hope in your heart. Our last visit was lunch with you and Norbie before your moved to Florida and we laughed and we ate and we laughed again. I know my sister will miss you weekly telephone calls and of course we will both miss you. You have now joined your family, Rest in peace cousin Lilly Linda and Joanne

I shed tears as I read these sentiments and memories. We all agree: that she was a loving but strong woman who enjoyed simple things, ,like sitting evenings watching the garden lights go on; talking to and petting the dogs visiting you and Lola; and taking that occasional walk with us There was nothing I wouldn't do for you-doctor appointments to shopping and ending with an occasional lunch I remember the two times we went to Island Gypsy and you actually putting your feet up on a chair telling me not to wake you if you fell asleep after we ate and sat in the sun at waterside taking in the breezes. Thank you, Kerri, for introducing us. I can't help thinking that she brought us all together so that we could grieve together when the time came. Her 90th birthday was a joy. Four days before mine, I often said to her that I wanted to be like her I was her age. and she would laugh and say no you don't. I know she had a lot of unhappy times in her life but she made the best of it. I miss you and will celebrate your birthday every year mine rolls around. The only good thing I can say is that you are now at peace with your entire family.

Aunt Lil... Anyone who has known you would describe you as smart, tough, funny and caring.... I completely agree. After you left New York you and Suzanne had to keep in touch by phone. I listened in and participated in some of those conversations. I was amazed at how you were always upbeat, positive, funny and ready to take on anything that life threw at you. I.m going to miss those conversations and I.m going to miss you. You were like a grandmother to Kate, a second mother to Suzanne and an inspiration to me..... Rest in Peace Aunt Lil..... Eddie

Lillian really was an awesome lady. She was my friend the age difference made no difference at all. She was fun to be around, and she will be missed very much. Rest in peace, Lillian.
