Marge was my next door neighbor for thirty-four years. She was the first one to show up at my door when we moved in and we have been friends ever since. She, I, and two other neighbors would play Scrabble once a month. Marge was a serious player - unlike the rest of us. It was just a game to us - we helped each other and laughed a lot. Marge would give us a disapproving look but bit her tongue. I will never forget how hard she worked in her garden and the results showed - IT WAS BEAUTIFUL! Whenever I had leftovers from company I knew I could take a lot to Marge. She accepted the leftovers gratefully and I felt so good that the food was not going to waste. Georgianna, Barbara, and I missed her very much when she moved in with Joan but one thing is certain, we will never forget her. Thanks for the many memories Marge. Your friend and neighbor Linda.

Oh dear Marge- what joy and laughter she brought to every occasion! She truly embraced life and all the people God brought her way. Giving, caring, smart, generous, loving, funny, godly .. a wonderful friend for such a long, long time. Marge will be greatly missed.

MARGE AND I BECAME FRIENDS WHEN WE WERE FRESHMEN IN GROVER CLEVELAND HIGH SCHOOL IN RIDGEWOOD, NY. WE WERE IN SOMETHING CALLED "BLOCK B" AND HAD ALMOST ALL OUR CLASSES TOGETHER. WE REMAINED FRIENDS FOR THE REST OF OUR LIVES. SHE AND I TOOK TWO WONDERFUL BUS TRIPS TOGETHER -ONE TO SAVANNAH/CHARLESTON AND ONE TO CHICAGO. IT WAS A "LAUGH A MINUTE" BECAUSE OF HER GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR. I ONLY REGRET THAT I DIDN'T GET TO HAVE MORE LAUGHS WITH HER BEFORE HER LORD CALLED HER. SHE WILL ALWAYS LIVE IN MY HEART. GOD BLESS AND KEEP YOU, MY DEAR FRIEND OF MY YOUTH...

Dear Margie, We shared so many fun times as adolescents, teens, working girls and then as wives and mothers. The later years kept us further apart with health issues and family obligations but the youthful memories were always there and made us laugh. God bless you Margie. You will be missed. Love Marilyn and Tony

"A sweet friendship refreshes the soul" Proverbs 27:9 My sweet friend, Marge, went home to be with the Lord this week. When my husband passed away, and I had to sell my house, Marge, a widow herself, allowed me to move in with her. The Lord brought her into my life when I needed friend and a place to live while I waited on the Lord to show me his plan. I lived with Marge in her beautiul home for 2 years at minimal rent. During that time we cooked meals together, shopped together and and basically did life together. My most precious memories are when we would share devotions and our deepst heart felt needs & concerns when we would pray for each other and our families. We would rejoice together when we saw answers to prayers and there were many. Marge loved my children and made them feel that they could come to her home any time. Marge also loved the Deaf and became involved in their lives at ICC. She understood and fully supported me when the Lord called me to be a missionary with DOOR International. My children loved her too. I will miss you Marge, I love you. The Lord brought you into my life at the most perfect time. You were the strong Christian woman I needed to share those difficult 2 years. Your first love was Jesus! I know you are with the Lord and safe in His hands. I will miss you, but "see you in the morning"
