I will miss our conversations over the fence and hanging bags of tomatoes , peppers, eggplant, etc on the fence for you. You were a great neighbor. I'll miss the laughs we shared.

Grateful I got to see Aunt Mary last year. She made sure my snack/soda habit stayed reinforced 😉 and was witty as ever. ... Rest in peace.

Much of my love for puzzles and problem solving started with her. When visiting she'd always make sure I'd pack my bags full of puzzle books and magazines that I still work through today becoming part of a daily routine that I work on. She would always push for me to get a library card and encourage me to read and I'm happy to say she was successful and that I have one that I use to this day. She was loved dearly and will be missed even more so.

I have many fond memories of Lola. I remember visiting her and Lolo as a kid and eating delicious blueberry pancakes. Once, I messed with her phone and brought up a calculator which she couldn't dismiss, and we joked about it for years to come. I loved her hearty laugh. She's the reason that I know even numbered highways run east to west and odd numbered highways run north to south. Her and Lolo would always send me letters on special occasions, and I keep and cherish them. I am grateful for principles and morals that they instilled in my father, who in turn shaped me.

My mom was a vibrant caring women. She blessed my girls with wonderful memories of cooking, playing crazy dress up parties, and playing Rummikub and spades. To this day my girls and I play rummikub whenever we can. Now it's a tribute game

Mary was a fearless emergent department nurse who taught me how to manage the most difficult medical problems with compassion and kindness. We worked together in the Commack ambulances together for years. Little did she know that her teaching would come full circle nearly 50 years later. I had the chance to spend precious time with her while she was in home hospice attending to her every need. We have memories of quiet sacred moments and universal truths that were revealed in those precious times together. We love you Mom - Jim, Dole, Jimmy and David.
