Phil was a one of the kindest souls I've ever known. He was a childhood friend, later a neighbor, and then loving husband to my dear friend and teaching colleague, Pauline. I'm happy that I introduced them and that their wonderful humor and friendship has been with me for all of my adult life. Phil will be greatly missed, but I know his spirit will live on in many warm stories and memories of live.

When my children were small, they always remembered Phil as the best story teller with them. He would always make them laugh and feel special. Now that they are 33 and 35, they remember him with love.

Growing up I always used to be so excited when Phil and Paula were coming to visit! He was a wonderful person who always had a smile on his face and a joyful laugh to go along with it! Phil...a constant source of warmth and humor. He was there with phone conversations when my beloved husband , Angel, needed it most. My cousin Paula shared a life of love and affection with this good man. Together they gave love and laughter to family and friends.
