Obituary For Rita G. Baranski

Rita G Baranski passed away peacefully at St Johnlands Nursing home in Kings Park at the age of 97. Rita was born and raised in Buffalo NY to Victor & Josephine Lampka. In 1951, Rita married the love of her life Dr Matthew Baranski, and together they raised three daughters. The family relocated to E. Northport NY in the early sixties where Rita continued to live. Rita was proudly employed by the Huntington Public Library for 43 years and retired in 2013. Rita was predeceased by her husband Matthew Baranski, eldest daughter Stephanie and son in law William Ryan of St James NY. She is survived by her daughter Felicia Baresel & husband Paul of Buxton, ME. , her long time caregiver daughter Sylvia Baranski of Stoneybrook NY and her grandchildren - Ashley and Matthew Robedee She will be sadly missed by her friend, family and all who loved her. A funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday June 15, 2022 4-6pm at the Brueggemann Funeral Home of East Northport, Inc. 522 Larkfield Rd - E Northport NY 1173.
