Although I only knew you for short while in my teens, I was always inspired by your positive outlook on life. You never complained as it would have been so easy to do being a young single mom, guiding your young boys towards becoming good men. You gave all your love to them, never having the time to think of what you needed for yourself. Your family was blessed to have such a wonderful loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. God's Speed Susan! Love Michael Berman

Mrs. D, You have and always will hold a special place in my heart. You watched me grow up and I watched you grow older...You were someone that I've admired my entire life. You always were there with a listening ear and being able to come to you for advice, knowing that you always had the right words to say. I have been blessed by having you in my life and you are going to be so missed. Thank you for all the beautiful memories that I will hold dear to my heart forever. Love you Mrs. D. (As much as you would say call me Sue, you were always Mrs. D to me)

Sue was a wonderful woman I feel lucky to have known. She attended the Lions Club Senior Center for the Blind in Huntington Station for several years and that is how we met. I enjoyed her sense of humor...we always made each other laugh. I know she was a very strong person, very kind and had a great deal of common sense. We will miss you, Sue. With love, Deb & Ray Costa
