Walt was one of my very best friends and he was kind of a brother to me. We had many great times and I miss him terribly. RIP my friend.

Mr. and Mrs. Clay Johnson were honored to know Walter and Carol Tacke when they lived in Commack. Walter and Clay spent time together as scout leaders and we also got together for dinner or a play as couples. We shared happy times and very sad times but the Tacke's had amazing love and strength, obvious to all. Clay would often say "Walter is such a nice guy" with such emphasis on the nice word. Ellen remembers the kind and gentle manner he displayed and such pride in his family. Also, they had a faith in God to see them through. Whenever I talked to Walter, he would tell me what was going on with his children and ALL of his grandchildren. A life well lived describes Walter! We extend our sympathy to all of the family.
